The Writing Workshop Bookings
The Writing Workshop helps young writers build confidence, take pride in work, develop creativity, improve literacy, increase general braininess and have a lot of fun. Book after-school, school holiday and online workshops here. The Writing Workshop also offers in-school visits and teacher professional development.
Payment through this site is via credit card only. If you wish to pay via bank transfer, please contact us via email (bookings@writingworkshop.com.au) to ensure we can reserve places.
Monday Afternoon Online Creative Writing
Our regular online after-school workshop runs Monday afternoon, and is open to primary school children from any school.
Starts Monday 28th July 2025, ends Monday 22nd September.
Cost is $306 for 9 x 55-minute meetings. The Writing Workshop accepts NSW Creative Kids vouchers.

Our Tuesday evening creative writing group for high school years 7-9. Creative approach to creative and imaginative work.
This workshop will run 7.00-8.30pm live online via Zoom (concurrent face-to-face option unavailable until further notice).

This workshop - for young writers aged 7-10 - takes young writers through the skills required to create and develop settings, events and characters. Feedback from published authors helps children expand and redraft their most wonderful work.
