The Writing Workshop Bookings
The Writing Workshop helps young writers build confidence, take pride in work, develop creativity, improve literacy, increase general braininess and have a lot of fun. Book after-school, school holiday and online workshops here. The Writing Workshop also offers in-school visits and teacher professional development.
Payment through this site is via credit card only. If you wish to pay via bank transfer, please contact us via email (bookings@writingworkshop.com.au) to ensure we can reserve places.

The Writing Workshop's July school holiday workshops - face-to-face at Sydney Olympic Park. An amazing assortment of fabulously fun, enormously educational workshops for young writers aged 6 to 15.
The Writing Workshop accepts NSW Creative Kids vouchers for all school holiday workshops.
Book before 27th June for a $10 early bird discount.
Monday Afternoon Online Creative Writing
Our regular online after-school workshop runs Monday afternoon, and is open to primary school children from any school.
Starts Monday 5th May, ends Monday 30th June. No workshop on 9th June due to public holiday.
Cost is $256 for 8 x 55-minute meetings. The Writing Workshop accepts NSW Creative Kids vouchers.

Our regular after-school workshop at Eastwood Public School on Monday afternoons, and is open to children from any school.

Fabulous creative writing at Darlinghurst Public School. Runs on Tuesday afternoons 3.05-4.05pm.
Starts 6th May 2025, finishes 1st July 2025. For Years 1-6. Darlinghurst PS students only.
Cost is $288 for 9 x 60-minute meetings. The Writing Workshop accepts NSW Creative Kids vouchers.
Tuesday Evening Creative Writing Group
Our Tuesday evening creative writing group for high school years 7-9. Creative approach to creative and imaginative work.
This workshop will run 7.00-8.30pm live online via Zoom (concurrent face-to-face option unavailable until further notice).
Starts 29th April 2025, ends 1st July.

TWW Online Workshop: Self-paced for ages 7-10
This workshop - for young writers aged 7-10 - takes young writers through the skills required to create and develop settings, events and characters. Feedback from published authors helps children expand and redraft their most wonderful work.
Work through this series of writing exercises at your own pace in a password-protected setting.
