The Writing Workshop Bookings
The Writing Workshop helps young writers build confidence, take pride in work, develop creativity, improve literacy, increase general braininess and have a lot of fun. Book after-school, school holiday and online workshops here. The Writing Workshop also offers in-school visits and teacher professional development.
Payment through this site is via credit card only. If you wish to pay via bank transfer, please contact us via email (bookings@writingworkshop.com.au) to ensure we can reserve places.

School Holiday Workshops
This school holidays, choose from a stunning selection of fabulously fun, enormously educational writing workshops, with ages ranging from 6 to 15. Details of individual workshops can be found here.
The Writing Workshop accepts NSW Creative Kids vouchers for all school holiday workshops.
Monday Fort Street PS Creative Writing
Our regular after-school workshop at Fort Street Public School on Monday afternoons. Fort Street PS students only.
Starts Monday 27th July 2026, ends Monday 21st September.
Cost is $306 for 9 x 55-minute meetings. The Writing Workshop accepts NSW Creative Kids vouchers.
Monday Afternoon Online Creative Writing Years 2-6
Our regular online after-school workshop runs Monday afternoon, and is open to primary school children from any school.
Starts Monday 10th August 2026, ends Monday 21st September.

Tuesday Afternoon Online Creative Writing Years 3-6

Tuesday Evening Creative Writing Group Years 7-9
Our Tuesday evening creative writing group for high school years 7-9. Creative approach to creative and imaginative work.
This workshop will run 7.00-8.30pm live online via Zoom (concurrent face-to-face option unavailable until further notice).

TWW Online Workshop: Self-paced for ages 7-10
This workshop - for young writers aged 7-10 - takes young writers through the skills required to create and develop settings, events and characters. Feedback from published authors helps children expand and redraft their most wonderful work.
Work through this series of writing exercises at your own pace in a password-protected setting.
